beamish
Steve, do you have graphs ? Just wondering if the SW UHC also allows Ha thru ( tho at that price I guess not )Karlo
John
Interesting Steve - I suppose the question that will be asked is "are the Baader equivilents worth the extra £'s ?" - I've recently moved from a1.25" Baader UHC-S to a 2" TS (Telescope Services) UHC (which looks very much like a clone of the Skywatcher UHC) and I could not find much, if any, difference in performance between the two in my scopes - the TS UHC was markedly less expensive than the Baader in the 2" size though. Both are a great addition to the visual astronomers toolkit John
FLO
Ant carried out a Skywatcher LPR v Neodymium filter comparison test HEREI have requested hi-res graphs. Meanwhile, the only ones available are these low-quality 'pretty' ones:
FLO
........ Yes, that's what I thought too Now you know why I didn't put the charts on FLO's site! Hopefully they'll send some more detailed ones later.
Psychobilly
The worst thing especially with the LP graphs is they have (for the sake of looking pretty) got the colour background and wavelenghts way out....the other two arent anywhere near so bad...Billy... FLO
Yes, the LPR and UHC filters have been well-received and I am sure the OIII will also but they do need some better graphs, either that or no graphs at all. The pretty ones just give the wrong impression.
