Was in Macro today and bought one of these for £29.99 + VAT.

Its very compact 7.5"L x 2.5"W x 5.5"H weighs about 1.5 kilos

It will charge from your car fag lighter or from mains charger supplied with it.

It is designed to 'boost' the battery during start ups but it has enough capacity easy to power my CPC 800 GPS for 4 hours this evening .I just put it back on charge and 20 mins later its green light say full again. This battery supply will go for hours on a low drain scope like mine.

A handy device but be careful not to let it fully discharge other wise it won't accept another charge (same applies for all the lead-acid type power packs but the lower Ah models are more at risk of becoming depleted, during a coffee break for example).
