IC405 - Flaming Star

Having a permanent set-up has encouraged me to try a wider range of targets.

This is a quick process of IC405.

170 x 120 sec subs over 3 mights, Equinox ED80, QHY168C, CEM60EC.

Some of the data is a bit flaky as I am still learning and setting up a new rig. I think there is more to come, but I have been getting some banding in the images from the CMOS detector, and have not figured out how to tame it yet. Sometimes it breaks through as I process.

I use this IDAS filter with my QHY168C https://www.firstlightoptics.com/idas-filters/idas-heuib-ii-uvir-blocking-filter.html

It is supposed to help the Ha signal come through on OSC cameras and DSLRs.

I haven't used the rig without the filter, so I can't comment on the difference it makes. I needed a UV and IR cut filter anyway so this seemed like a good choice.
