Meade 125 to computer

can someone give me a few answers to some questions?

i live in botwood, newfoundland which is a fairly dark area

i was able to get horse head nebula while inside toronto. i want to do that and more. i had a celestron 150 skywatcher eq2 and now i have a meade 125 star navigator ng with go-to. also , that too has a second telephone or network jack on it. what are those for? what can i do to get the best. attached are some pics of the setup now. im not even sure if i got the camera set up correctly with it

there is the computer connecter, the power connected, the power switch, but there also is another female jack like network or telephone on the meade control base.

i want to connect my computer to see the live images from the scope, can that be done?
can i connect and control using android at least?
if i bring it in and outside often at -20C will that eventually screw it up?

To see the Canon LiveView images you will need a USB cable from the PC to the camera USB socket, and software such as Canon Utilites that can be found on the CD that comes with the camera. This software can also control the camera exposure and shutter remotely.
