Bubble nebula C11 Edge HD + 0.7 FR + Altair Quad filter and ASI 294 MC + guiding w/ Celestron OAG & QHY5L-IIM  70 x 30s lights

 

 

Not quite finished processing but I got quite exited by the results 🙂 Hope nobody minds. Comments very welcome!

After more processing with PI and getting rid of noise as well as hot pixels due to lack of calibration frames using MF, I've gotten his far today. The most important thing to note, which I didn't mention yesterday, is that guiding has improved a lot, even if the lights are still only 30s. But with this camera, it hardly makes sense to expose for longer on this type of target.

 

I now notice there is a red cast on the image here - much more pronounced than on the same screen but in PI....(tsk!)
