my first moon mosaic

My first practise at doing a mosaic in Photohop. 3 640x480 images joined together. Quite pleased with the result

Very nice,, great detail and sharp focus. I would like to give the mosaic thing a go, on my 'to do' list.

a quick experiment to see how much better mosaicing several higher mag images is than few wide angle images. I had barlowed capture of the Clavius area, which I resized and overlaid on the orginal wider angle image. Seems like it shows some sharper detail, as expected really, even though the barlowed image was not particularly good as the scope hadn't fully cooled down.
