Looking for advice on a Skywatcher Startravel 102T scope

Hi' I am looking for advice on the scope above.Is it possible to piggyback the scope on top of my main scope which is a 8'' F5 reflector on a neq6 mount.I do have a dove tail which will fit on top of my 8'' scope Thanks.Mark

you can, you may need another weight.

I used to put a 80mm/f5 the 102 is abit larger and heavier

my setup was on a 10"sct then I needed guilding rings & mounting rail that added extra weight, and thewn I need to buy sliding counter weights under the scope. all that added a lot weight. I can see the 102 adding even more weight cause its not just the ota but the rings and bars then weight to counter balance it. 

I would recommend a bit smaller scope UNLESS you already have the 102.

BUT it did make a great large finderscope

Thanks Joejaguar' For your help i was looking at the scope for a piggyback on my main scope so i can place my filter wheel to it with my camera to take images of the night sky.Mark
