SCT reducer problem?

Hi all,i bougjt this from a fellow member and have noticed a cloudy ring round the outer part of the lens.It lookes like it is inside,i have tried to show it in the images....any ideas what it is and cause,and could it be fixed.

It is probably moisture so leaving it in a warm dry environment for a few days might sort it. It doesn't look very healthy 'as is.'

Hello Olly,i have had it inside in the heat,the first pic shows a bit of condensation in the middle which i knew about,its the outer halo that has been there from the day i received it.

If it wasn't disclosed that it has clouding issues, I'd ask for a return and refund.  Something that obvious should have been disclosed up front.  You could always try it out anyway under the stars to see if it affects performance.

It was'nt disclosed to me,and it is very obvious that it was there,so i dont think i will make contact with the seller,you can notice it on the moon but hav'nt tried it on the stars yet,if i could open it up i will try and give it a clean to see it that helps.

Actually made contact with the seller...but unfortunately did'nt get any feedback,a well,suppose these things happen.
