OK I've done a ton more testing and TBH this has simply confused things even further - to my mind at least.

Because this thread has got a bit muddled, Ive started another thread - ASI1600mm Flat Nightmare pt 3 - in which  I've eliminated some issues but discovered others.

Hopefully folk agree that's better than extending this thread.

Please jump to the new thread - I'm at my wits end!

Hi Tom, Could I ask if you are using an OAG to guide? The intruding element in the top centre of a couple of the flats look suspiciously like a misaligned OAG prism...I had this issue with my ASI
