M20 and M8

The trifid and Lagoon nebulae 

First attempt at this target and im really happy with it given the small amount of data.

skywatcher 150pds

canon 6D

iso 3000

11X120 seconds lights

10X120 seconds darks

pixinsight and lightroom.

The image is beautiful! I liked the colors.

These are M20 and M8. Trifid and Lagoon nebulas.

Maybe you could try a star reduction in the Pixinsight. This usually brings more contrast to nebulosity.

i was referring to another image whilst distracted  ....of course it’s M20 and M8 😂😂

i will re edit the image 🤦🏻‍♂️

star reduction isn’t something I have played with yet in pixinsight.

i will go looking for tutorials in the book and on YouTube 👍👍
