Celestron 130SLT mounting

hello all

can somebody help me? the dovetail mounting on my scope flexes because the metal of the tube is too flimsy. Are there any ring mountings available and if so where can I get one?

I think you would be able to fit the Skywatcher dovetail bar and rings, contact Steve at First Light Optics, the big banner at the top of the page. I'm sure he will advise you what you need to do this.

I will say however, I had a 130SLT and dont remember that problem, are you sure the dvetail plate screws are tight and that the hand bolt on the mount is tight?

I'm using a standard Skywatcher Dovetail and tube rings with my 80mm Frac on the NexStar mount, no problems at all. I've never used the 60mm Frac that came with it so can't comment on the provided fixings.
