alacant
Hi everyone We had the fast reflector last night, so had a go at something faint. It's the bit in the middle of the veil nebulae that no one usually bothers with. Instead of taking fewer long frames, we took loadsa short frames. It's less noisy that way and you seem to get more stars, but it needed 8 threads with the .fits on a SSD to process before it went dark again;) A bit disappointed with the blue-green. We sometimes add some UHC frames to this sort of stuff which helps. If anyone is visiting with an O filter, do pass by:) Poor processing anyway. 700d on pn208 @ ISO800 Edited August 25, 2019 by alacant
