ASI1600-MM PRO Dark Frame

Hi

This is a 300sec dark frame from my new 1600MM-pro. Compared to my 183MM-pro, there is a LOT more hot pixels, so much so that they show up as a second peak on the histogram. Is this normal? 1600 and 183 Dark Frames attached for comparison.

I suspect t it is normal and due to telegraph noise. This is non Gaussian and inherent in CMOS based cameras. It may just looks worse as there is less amp glow.

Looks normal to me. Shoot at least 15 darks and the master will calibrate fine.
