Recently bought an 8inch dob from orion with it I was given free a video eyepiece the instructions say it can be inserted in place of the eyepiece with the lead plugged into a tv. which is no good if your in the middle of a field is there an adapter which will enable it to be used on a laptop.can anyone help cheers.

If the video eyepiece is not computer compatible, you could just get a no-brand USB astro video camera.  I have seen some on ebay that were cheaper than the suggested adapters.

Basic USB cameras aren’t too expensive.

Or cheap very basic camera. Might be OK for the moon though.
