Lyra galaxies

Normally we would not go galaxy hunting in Lyra so here is a selection from a tour using the C11/ultrastar. When we look at M57 we rarely notice the IC galaxy nearby. I only once got it using averted vision and a big Dob. Even with the camera it was difficult to spot it.

NGC 6745 is actually three galaxies, probably merging by looks of the distortion. The middle bright core (faint) is UGC 11391.

These shots were taken under a very bright moon, just over two days from full moon.
