M100 and Supernova

Thanks, its a ZWO ASI120 on the end of an Esprit 150. This was 60 x 60s L, 15 x 120s each on RGB,  150 mins total integration. No cooling on this camera, so running at ambient, 5-10 degrees C.  I have since moved to an ASI178 with a retro fitted cooler, getting better results with that.

I guess the odds of finding a supernova (amongst those who are looking for one), must be much better than winning the lottery jackpot?

Ah I have the same camera.  I have done some decent shots with the Altair GPcam mono that has the same chip.  Again I used the C8.  I only imaged this because one of my online astro friends suggested it as I was setting up. I'd forgotten about the supernova.  It wasn't my original target.
