Saturn about 15 years ago

Hi all, I've been away from the hobby for a long time, posting an image of Saturn I took about 15 or so years ago with a made 10 inch SCT and a Philips tucam,  a blast from the past, lol.

Ah, the old tucam pro, I still have one tucked up in the loft somewhere, great bit of kit. I think for the price they hit well above their weight with the Luna and planetary images they could produce as your image shows, I recall some people were able to modify them to take long exposure deep sky images with fairly reasonable results.

Yeah, people did modify the tucam, they were great camera's of their time and a forerunner of today's imaging community. Just how far we have come. Building up my equipment after having to sell everything 12 years ago.
