IC1396 again - this time with gain 200

I'm still playing with my new ASI1600 in less than ideal conditions.

I re-imaged IC1396 again last night, this time with gain set to 200 and offset 50 (not sure I fully understand what I am doing yet but hopefully it will all become clear).

This is 12x180s + 12x240s of both Ha and OIII all calibrated and combined in APP (multi-filter / multi-session); stretched in PI using HistogramStretch and colour tweaked in PS using Levels.

This is my first attempt at IC1396 taken two night ago except with 139 gain and 21 offset for comparison; processed in the same way as the 200 gain image.

I have a few star shape problems especially in the bottom left hand corner.  Guiding was not great (1" total r.m.s.). I wonder if I've got a bit of sag in the optical train - I have real problems with the connection of the reducer to the focus unit on the ZS71; it is very difficult to achieve a straight connection with the three screw centering system. I would really like a Baader click-lock as per my ED80DS but not sure one exists suitable for the ZS71. Can anyone tell me any different?

Thanks for looking.

Adrian
