WO ZS66SD and Moonlite Focuser Question

I've just received a flange from FLO to fit a Moonlite CF2 to my little ZS66SD to replace the original focuser which had loads of slop in it. 

However to fit the focuser I've had to remove an internal plastic ridged cone which I assume is fitted to reduce internal reflections and improve contrast. 

Has anyone else fitted a Moonlite to a ZS66? 

Does the removal of the plastic cone impact the view? 

Would it be worth flocking the inside of the tube which now looks more reflective. 

I'd check it out myself but I've got permacloud.
