NGC 4565 A spur of the moment thing.

My ZWO ASI 183mm Pro camera is out for repair so back to using the Atik OSC camera.

I imaged 123P West Hartley for about 30 mins and will post that in another thread later. I looked at CdC and chose a few galaxies to compare with others on the Net. While doing this I slew to NGC 4565, not expecting much. At 2800mm on my C11 It was too big to fit in the field of view :o lol. So, had to go rotate my camera. Imaged for a while and then went back to M108. I decided to process NGC 4565 while waiting for other subs. Here is the result.

50 x 120s Lights

100 Darks and Bias

50 flats

Pixinsight

Mesu 200 and C11 at 2800mm FL

Thanks for looking.

Dave.

If that is what a spur of the moment can achieve, role on the planned images !

? Thanks. Unklewhale.

It really was something I just came across as I was looking for galaxies to image. A very nice surprise :)

Very nice "snap shot"! Looks like you got some good tracking there which makes me happy since I just bolted a Mesu on my pier.

Thanks gorann. :)

Congratulations on your Mesu. It's a great mount. I am sure, once setup, you will have some great nights imaging with it.
