Fitting a 2" LP filter

Hi,

I thought for some reason that if I bought a 2" lp filter I could just fit it somewhere in my flattener or between the flattener and DSLR.

I'm not sure how it fits? I have a WO73 < Flattener < DSLR 

 

ah it's ok I've figured it out. I spent the other night trying to install it between my flattener somewhere and couldn't work it out - just saw a video on it where the first part of the flattener which connects to the scope you have to unscrew that part, then the filter screws into body of the flattener and you put the first part back on. Very neat

Is there not any threads for it on the end of your flattener (telescope end)? I'd be weary of having a filter load bearing.

It's ok, it screws into flattener and sorts of sits inside it, the filter itself doesn't connect to the the telescope.
