Tracer for Vixen SX2

Hello

I’m about to take delivery of a Vixen SX2 with Starbook One, this will be my first ever powered / motorized mount.

I do not have a power tank and whilst that is an option I wondered if anyone used a Tracer 3.5AH LiFePo4  battery ?

Hi Carl,

I've been using these for a while and really like them. They're v reliable, relatively light and suitable for deep discharge. They have great capacity, which self discharges only extremely slowly and they perform well in the cold too. Hope that helps.

Just what I wanted to hear, It's good to know they perform well when the temperature drops as I will be using the mount all year round and winter nights here can be quite chilly.
