Newb Question about T-Rings

Hi,

I have a Celestron Travelscope 70 and want to connect my Nikon D3300 DSLR to the scope and take some shots. Can someone tell me which T-Ring is compatible - I have seen a youtube clip on how its done with this particular scope, but I have no idea which sized T-Ring would work? - and link to the right size would really be appreciated.

A Nikon DSLR compatible t-ring is what you need (check Amazon or ebay for Nikon DSLR t-ring). The threaded part of the ring is standard (M42x0.75mm) and the outer part is designed to fit a Nikon DSLR body.

And coupled with a t mount you get a nose peice that inserts into the telescope focuser tube.

As generally you remove the diagonal before inserting the t mount into the focuser you may need a two inch extension tube to replace the length the diagonal took up. You won't know until you try.
