Coma corrector before and after.

I Downloaded the trial of CCD inspector the other day to see what it made of two images taken with my starlight express HX916 through my 10" newt, one without the coma corrector and one with it in place.

The collimation in the before shot is out a bit but I am very pleased with the apparent improvement with coma corrector in place.

A huge difference, Mike - I am looking forward to being able to use mine too, just waiting for the adapter.

Mike, it is a great bit of kit. Mine gives me a nice flat field across a QHY8 chip with an F4 GSO newt. Spacing is pretty critical though

The CCD inspector trial is 30 days so I hope to play with the spacing to see if I can better the results.

If only CCD Inspector was less expensive (and not higher priced in the UK than in the USA despite it being a download!) they would sell so many more copies!!
