Cem60 Tripod question

Hey guys,

so I've been saving up for Cem60 for quite a while now and I was planning on getting it together with the iOptron Tri-pier. The problem is that my current mount is dying and I thought that I would get just the mount and the tri-pier later. There is a iOptron Pier top plate for Cem60 and I was wondering if any of you has an experience with fitting it on tripod legs for Celestron CG5 ADV GT.

If money is tight, drill two holes 130mm apart and tap with I think an M6 thread (but can check).

That is all there is to it.

I have a pier in the garden and previously had one of Altair Astro's Pier adapters for my EZ-EQ6-GT, it was already drilled and tapped for the iOptron.
