Dovetail mounting plates.

I have been thinking about changing the dovetail plate on my Meade.

I have had to slip the OTA through the rings a couple of times when I could not get balance.

The plate that is on does not give me much room for manoeuvre.

So I was thinking of getting a medium 21cm Sky-Watcher Dovetail one.

someone has put about 6/7 washers where the mounting bolts go, could I just bolt the rings straight onto the sky watcher one and would I need to do any adjustments if so what and how please.

No it is a Meade refractor thank you anyway just found exact same dovetail plate only 280mm long 90mm longer than the one that is on. So I have bought that second hand.
