EQMODLX MSWINSCK.OCX

Hi All,

 

I'm trying to run EQMODLX and it is telling me that MSWINSCK.OCX is missing. I am running 64bit WIN 10. I have searched and can't find the file to download, I understand that once I have the file in my system32 directory I have to register it. Does anyone have a decent source for the file?

There is a download source on this page for the EQMODLX executable and all files does that not work?

Hi Dave, that's where I downloaded it from, but the mswinsck.ocx file is missing. I have downloaded it seperately and now have it in the system32 and the syswow64 folders (as it is on someone else's system) but it is still failing to start, with the same error.

OK, fixed now, I think! Having downloaded the .ocx file I had to run "regsvr32 mswinsck.ocx" with the command prompt set to run as administrator.
