TPO RC6" reducer

I have a third planet optics ritchie cretien. It came with a .75 reducer as a package. I tried using the reducer with my DSLR last night and could not bring it into focus even without any spacer rings. I had replaced the original focuser, but the size dofferance is very minimal if any, maybe a 1/16 or an 1/8 ( just held it up next to the scope to check). Any ideas?

This topic should point you in the right direction. The GSO is the same scope as the TPO just badged different.
