First Light with Astro-Pro ED102 - Cocoon Nebula - IC5146

Hi All,

I've snuck out my Christmas present a bit early - the missus is on Night Shift tonight! (sssssh!)

Anyway, I chose IC5146 - The Cocoon Nebula for my target. The image is 3 x 10 minute Ha + 3 x 5 minute RGB, aligned and DDP'd in MaximDL. The stars are a little weird though - I've managed to improve that in the one I am taking now by using a 2" nosepiece for my SXV-H9 - this was taken using a 1.25" nosepiece - weird!
