Dew Heaters' Placement

Newby here, trying to get my rig up and running to full potential, looking for advice: I have a 4" dew heater for the 100mm objective lens on my scope, but am at a loss as to where the second band (3") is required, if at all. I have a 50mm guidsecope and CCD autoguider attached, and am imaging (or will be) with a Canon T6i coupled to a .85x reducer/field flattener. Thanks!

I have a 3" dew band placed exactly over the lens (ED80) and a smaller one over the lens of my finder/guider scope, together they work very well all night!!
