moon and ha

hi all moon very bright at the minute so probably rgb out at the minute but is it worthwhile catching the ha side of it ready for the rgb data later,or does it degrade ha as well .Looking at the veil nebula and the bubble cheers

Depending on the filter and camera. I have a 12nm clip filter for my Canon and with the moon out there is a noticeable decrease in background contrast. Narrower bandwith filters might give better results.
