Must be Neil Bone syndrome :-)

But seriously, WAS members met up tonight in Lacock for a viewing evening (we didn't think it would be clear...but it was...and very clear too)

We had the STF8 inch, Ian's new (thanks Jamie...superb scope!), WO FLT, a TV85 (simply jaw droppingly good) and....hold on to your hats...a wonderfully setup LX90 (courtesy of Steve at TH), which hit every object we slewed it to, bang on the money...absolutely bang on the money..

M76, 56, 57, 1, 81,82,77,33,31, 37,38,39,29, Uranus, Neptune..several NGC and Caldwell objects...and the views for each of them (using a Televue Ethos 13mm) were wonderful..

No cameras, we toyed with some Pentax, Meade and TV EP's and just used the good old MK1 eyeball.

Thanks to Peter Chappell for bringin the LX90 along...Steve, you have done wonders with it mate..., and to Ian Pass and Andy Burns for the other great scopes.

Great views...really really great views... and not a laptop to be seen
