Revisiting a Noisy Horsehead in Ha

Having seen what can be dragged out of a Ha DSLR image, I've gone back to my 'Horsey Ha' from earlier this year.

I know this is a horrendously noisy image, but as it's only 40 300-second subs under my relatively light-polluted skies I was surprised that virtually all of the fainter background 'folds' in the nebular curtain can be dragged out... in fact it can dragged out even more, but the noise is even more awful.

This winter I'll aim to get as many 600-second subs as I can to add to this dataset.

There's some excellent detail emerging in there, good luck adding more frames.
