M31 from 21 October

My latest attempt at M31.

20 exposures @ISO 1600 of 100 seconds stacked in Deep sky stacker.

I let the Canon handle its own dark subtraction this time, it takes longer but I'm quite happy with the result.

I didn't get on too well with DSS last night (just downloaded latest version), this is about attempt no.5 at getting a workable image. In the end I gave up using settings that previously worked and used all DSS "reccomended settings".

Thats a nice M31 Andy for only 33mins of data......Im getting nowhere as near the amount of detail using the SW250 and the 350D, but seeing results like this gives me hope that one day i`ll get there........
