Hi everyone

Hot dusty conditions with a a frying pan dslr sensor to match, don't help the case over here but I suppose with 5 hours astro darkness to play with it's gotta be worth a try. Lost the colour in the stars trying to get the colour in the planetary but hey, you should have seen the boiling effect of the atmosphere.

Thanks for looking and clear skies to all

Still, a very nice image, despite the heat. I imagine that DSLR sensors get very noisy at those mediterranean temperatures. You could of course go for a cooled cmos and try lucky imaging. ?

Tell me about it, it's terrible in the summer here. Very nice image nonetheless. I'm using iso 400 these days and found out that stars are retaining much more color under my sky conditions.

Thanks for sharing.
