How did it go Agnes?  I was doing something similar too!  with a camera and a star adventurer.    I learnt a few things: I need a way to see the polar scope without neck contortions, and a way of knowing I've nailed focus.

I just ran through setup, programming the intervalometer and focusing then took some exposures to see how long I could go without trails. (6 seconds). Yes, neck contortion not good!
