celestron starsence handset lead

Hi need to update my hand set(or check version)

does anybody know the fitting on the bottom the base and all other squ

are rj12 6wire

the hand set is squarer and only 4 wire

driving me mad cannot find  the spec anywhere.

Thank you both great the diagram is just what I wanted.

I can now get on with my job.

Fed up with the hand set lead flopping around.

also the starsence align camera with loads of spare cables

so making my own length.

now waiting to order the db9m fittings then all leads done

no loose leads to trip up or get tangled when out in the dark.

I will post some pics if anyone is interested

If it's the four-way connector at the bottom end, you need the same lead that is used for updating the Nexstar and Nexstar+, and which should be readily available. (It can also be used for remote-controlling the mounts).

This is actually a serial lead, and terminates in a 9-pin serial port plug.  Unfortunately modern laptops generally don't have a serial port, so you also need a USB-to-serial converter (and a software driver).  I hope that's clear.

BTW, you may save yourself some grief if you check that you actually need the functions  supplied by the update, which will be found in documentation, and are not applying it just because it's available.
