I hate my EQ6 at the moment

I have an armoured cable to my observatory but everything in there is protected by a plug in RCD - an absolute must as Billy has stated. Although this isn't the actual device I have got, it is similar in nature:-

I use the power tank for visual and mains for imaging. I don't know about the EQ6 but the HEQ5's power light flashes if the voltage starts to drop. A fully charged powertank will last me a session on the HEQ5 but I'm rarely out for more than 3 hours or so.
