Not using a reducer/flattener?

Might have a go at imaging M81 this weekend with my SW80ED.  As the target is fairly small, I'm wondering if not using my 0.85x reducer/flattener is worth doing?  The missing field edge correction can be cropped out of the final image?

I image with the 80ED and an APS-C DSLR without a flattener, and yes, the stars do get eggy at the edges. You can always crop. Here's my attempt.

Thanks, that will go a long way to help me decide.  Interesting that you have defraction spikes on your bright stars.... did you add them in post processing?

I made diffraction spikes with some cardboard and wire. I now have a slightly unhealthy addiction to them
