I could only have a quick look at the 2007 edition (a fraction the size of the new one). You have found some really useful nuggets of useful information not easily available elsewhere.

One thing that springs to mind is why people publish big tables of data.... we can always use planetarium programmes and GOTO computers to find the objects, more useful is the plt showing the evolution of the position/brightness etc.... which you have also included for many of the dwtasets you presented.

I am very eagerly awaiting the translation, how long do you think it will take?

Little errata corrige: on page 137 I have written that the medium radius of Jupiter is 40 seconds, the correct value is 20. However the chart is valid in how much the data are in unitary values of jovian radii Rj

The people that has done a donation of any entities for the almanac send me by email the coordinates of their location, next year will be inserted in the Almanac!
