Tal 200K Mounting Plate - What do I need?

Can anyone tell me what mounting plate I need for this and even better where I can get one from? The internal width of the mounting shoe is 80mm. See photo below.

Looks like a Losmandy type clamp, so any Losmandy plate should fit...what is the internal width, at max and I will measure my L plate to see for sure....

Sorry for the delay, just measured my william Optics Losmandy plate and is 76mm across the dovetail...so would fit your clamp..! Just depends on how much you can tighten with the lock screw.. HTH

Thanks. It only tightens by an extra 2mm, so that's going to be too small. So does this mean I need a 78mm to 80mm wide losmandy plate and if so how long should it be? Cheers.

You won’t get an L plate that wide, the Williams Optics are about the widest you will get...

So what do I do then? Do I need to have a bespoke one made up from somewhere?

You will probably need to find an older imperial 3” width L plate as that will probably be very close to 80mm.. sorry can’t be of more help

He is based in Hurst, near Twyford. He did the 're-mod' on my ETX 105 backplate last year [2017].

If you need the details to manufacture a new plate I can compile a full detailed engineering drawing from the one I have. Just pm me.
