Orion & Horsehead with Tamron 135 Twin Tele

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone

Recently purchased an M42 Tamron twin tele 135mm f2.8 for just a few pounds as all of the 12 blades had become dislodged. After no small amount of frustration I managed to strip down the lens clean and reseat the blades. I have the extender which takes it to 225mm also, so will test that combo out later.

I gave it a quick test with an EOS 500D and the Star adventurer on 12/12, with the exception of some poor processing I am quite impressed with how it performed . Images were taken at f5.6 but will drop that down next time .

I believe the lens was made between 1962 and 1969 but someone may be able to enlighten me on that.

30 x 60 second lights, 30 Flats, 30 Darks, 16 Bias.

Thoughts, comments etc welcome
