Hi everyone. First time I'd been close enough for this to be anything but a small fuzzy blob. Encouraging that just a few light frames bring a bit of detail. I wonder if a cls would bring out more?

Very nice image and a very interesting object, did read about the CRAB NEBULA and there are very interesting backgrounds, why the nebula was called the way it is called CRAB NEBULA!!

M1 in 25 minutes? Have you got a Bugatti Veyron??? 

I like a widefield Crab because it contains the reminder that many of the stars in the field might end up putting on the same spectacle. It does respond very well to Ha and OIII, too.
