Hi guys

Skywatcher autofocus hand set problems

Just bought one secondhand it does not look like its ever been used

The right hand button on the hand set works fine the other the does not. Any idears has anybody had the same problem

The microswitches inside are not very good - I had exactly the same issue as you - never found a suitable replacement sorry !

I'v taken it apart fiddled and juggled and got it working but if you still have yours and want to give it a good home I will take it off your hands I maybe able to use the parts and owe you pint or 2 at kelling

I had a similar problem with mine.  As far as I recall, I simply took it apart and gave the contact a quick clean (probably a cotton bud with some alcohol on it) and all was well.  The other possible issue is a dodgy cable.
