Which mount for widefield DSLR imaging?

Looking for something to mount a simple widefield setup. e.g DSLR and lens (2-300mm FL)

The Star Adventurer looks good but would a driven EQ3 be a bit better at this FL?

Really looking to minimise setup time, but don't want to be throwing away 50% of images because of trailing either.

Any thoughts?

Difficult one, the SA has the slightly better unguided performance but the EQ3-2 can handle the weight better, so with DSO at 300mm they might both be a bit marginal but still OK for 60-120 seconds exposure. The EQ3-2 wins out for lunar or planetary imaging though with a larger scope, the downside is that its not as portable.

P.S. The stability of these mounts depends somewhat on the DSLR in question, if you have a flip out screen or its tethered and have a RA camera viewfinder for the polarscope you can image with a tripod a foot off the ground.
