Exactly like that! Which Giro is that? And what tripod are you using? 

To be honest, I drift between thinking of the C8 for aperture and the Mak150, because I trust Maks.

It's a Gitzo GT5542LS, end of life now but similar available. If you don't need the lightweight then a nice solid wooden tripod, berlebach say, would be more stable. The mount is an Ercole, again very nice but perhaps too much, the mini Ercole would suffice I think. I have had similar weights on my Giro-WR, albeit with an uprated bar in it, works very nicely.

These things are always a balance of portability, aperture, cooling etc etc I reckon a 150mm Mak would sit nicely with a 102 frac though
