Hi David,

Is it still under guarantee/warranty? - then I would contact the dealer/outlet where you purchased it from.

If not, can you or have you attempted to remove what is remaining? - if "Yes!" you maybe able to use the existing thread. If you have the tools you could drill it out and re-tap it. If that scares you... then maybe an engineering workshop may help.

Cheers Phill there is a little useable thread left I was thinking I may be able to find a slightly longer set screw.
