 anyone know when I might be able to see the 'giordano' creator, I believe that it can only be seen during a favourable liberation but not sure when the next one will be? I'm curious to see this famous creator whose formation "might" have been witnessed on earth.

Any tips for location and observing would always appreciated-i always very lousy navigating the moon through my scope- what with up being down and left being right etc!

I use Virtual Moon Atlas for navigating the moon, you can set it up to get the same orientation as at the eyepiece.
