Milkyway - canon 6D

My first attemp with the Canon 6D and the samyang 20 mm f/1.8 on a star adventurer. 

About 15 frames at f/2.8, 50sec and ISO 3200.

I owned the 60D before but the 6D is way ahead at resolution and noise! Some clouds were passing by at the right of the frame, that's why it is not so good there.

Nice picture! Some lovely detail in the dust clouds. I'm no professional by any means, but it does seem blown out in some of the bright areas. Don't know how you'd fix this though.

Really nice image. Thanks for sharing. I have been thinking of getting the 6D mark 2.........the temptation grows!

I was also thinking of getting the Mark II but when I saw the reviews, I chose the mark I instead. The Mark II produces more noise compared to mark I. Look for reviews and comparisons.

Nice job but I'd recommend taking another look at the colour balance, to my eye it has a red/purple hue. You might also get better results by dropping the ISO (less risk of blowing out highlihgts) and increasing the exposure time (improves SNR by overcoming read noise).
