redshift 6 starry nighr pro enthusiast

hi everybody would you recommend this software being new to astronomy, i have a nexstar 5 so redshift would probably be good for telescope control please let me know what you think about the software mentioned any help advice welcome many thanks

Try Stellarium. It is free and you can control a scope from it.

I however use Cartes Du Ciel, again free and easy to control a scope. It is not as pretty as your option or Stellarium but for scope control it is so simple.

I have used redshift 5, and starrynight pro 6, out of those two, i did use Starrynight the most and still use it every now and then. These days, i do tend to use Stellarium all the time, very very simple to use, and it is free. Give it a try
